Educational Access
Education is another important prong of our mission. Lack of access to a proper education is an issue throughout Uganda. UANMP would like to do its part to help which is why we have included a community/education center as part of our facility plan. This part of the project is very critical because education is the only way to break the cycle of poverty. Young people deserve to have a bright and promising future. While construction of the building is in progress, we are working to support educational opportunities outside of our facility such as providing funds to pay students’ school fees at other institutions.Â
Sadly, our founder, Elizabeth Nabeta died in 2018 and is greatly missed for her efficacy and dedication to the project and the residents of Nakuwadde Village, her native home. The dream has now passed into the hands of her daughter Vivian Nabeta who has embraced the project on behalf of her mother and residents of the Village.
